Adit Sawant is a final year Computer Science undergraduate student at BITS Pilani - Pilani Campus. He is a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about exploring the depths of Computer Science and gaining knowledge about all the popular fields such as ML, AI, Data Science, Web Development, and Software Development. Adit has a strong determination to continue his journey in this domain and has gained 1.86 years of relevant experience so far. Currently, Adit works as a Software Engineer at Walmart, where he holds the position of SDE-2. He has previously worked as a Software Development Intern at Walmart, where he worked on the unified micro-services architecture for the Massmart E-commerce platforms in South Africa. He has experience working with Java Backend, Spring Boot, React, Node, Maven, and Git. Additionally, Adit has also worked on migrating the Spark ETL job from Cosmos DB to Cassandra, where he evaluated queries and designed tables in Cassandra. He updated the ETL to read/write from Cassandra, which contributed to an estimated savings of $18,000 per month. Adit has a strong educational background, having completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He has also completed his 11th - 12th grade from Pace Junior Science College and his High School from Sacred Heart Convent High School, Ratnagiri. Adit's technical skills include Software Engineering, Web Development, AI, ML, and Data Science. He has hands-on experience with Java, Cassandra, Spring Boot, Spring, Microservices, Backend, ETL, and Spark. In summary, Adit is a highly motivated and skilled individual with a strong educational background and relevant experience in the field of Computer Science. He is passionate about exploring different areas of Computer Science and is always eager to learn and grow.
