Adithya Anand is a highly skilled and motivated software engineer with a passion for engineering solutions to real-world problems. He is currently pursuing his MS in Computer Engineering at UC San Diego, specializing in Distributed Systems and GPU Software Engineering. Adithya has a strong background in software development, operating systems, and processor architecture, and is interested in their application in academic research as well as in real-life scenarios. Adithya has over two years of experience working as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon Bangalore, where he was responsible for system design, code development, testing, client interaction, mentoring, and being his team's Scrum Master. During his tenure, Adithya led the design and software changes in Amazon Fulfillment Technology for making their applications completely accessible for blind and low vision warehouse associates. He also won the Amazon Fulfillment Technology: Master of Delivery award in Q3 2020 for consistently designing and deploying a highly available and scaled application worldwide. Adithya has also worked as a research intern at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore, where he gained valuable experience in researching and developing new technologies. He completed his undergraduate studies at BITS Pilani, Goa. Currently, Adithya is working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at UC San Diego's Computer Science and Engineering department, where he is responsible for teaching courses on Computer Architecture and Computer Architecture Lab. He is well-versed in technologies such as AWS, Spring, and Web, and has a strong understanding of test-driven development.
