Adithya Potlapelli is an experienced Software Engineer with a focus on building applications from conceptualization to productization. He is currently working as a Software Developer II at Linoy Technologies, where he has implemented several methods to improve the accuracy and efficiency of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Adithya has a strong background in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Autonomous Vehicles, and has worked on several projects related to these fields. At Linoy Technologies, Adithya has built a dominant colors profile for vehicles to efficiently handle missed detections and developed an algorithm to detect driver drowsiness. He has also added support for transfer learning toolkit models, which improved the throughput of the system. Adithya has developed an object monitoring system to handle all the bounding boxes in a structured manner and implemented a mean-difference patch-based tracker to track faces using neighboring pixels. He has also developed a face anonymization tool to blur faces to ensure data compliance. Adithya has designed and developed a proof-of-concept for a trespass alert application and worked on developing an application to identify and alert fatigue and distracted driving. Additionally, he has implemented asynchronous video recording and logging of ADAS near accident scenarios. Adithya has a strong technical background in C++, Python, OpenCV, Object-Oriented Design, PyTorch, and TensorFlow. He has also worked with technologies like TensorRT, CUDA, and Shell Scripting. Before joining Linoy Technologies, Adithya worked as a Software Engineer at the same company, where he trained and tested multiple deep learning object detection models, developed the perception module to handle detection and tracking on multiple cameras, and developed a method to assign and maintain unique IDs for the objects in the frame. Adithya has also worked as a Product Intern at Adobe, where he was a member of the Core Technology and Cloud Operations Team. He worked on a project to develop a content-based DCX file retrieval system, where he split DCX files into components, parsed text and extracted images from component media files, and generated tags based on the content present in each file. Adithya holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Vasavi College of Engineering and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of New Haven, which he is expected to complete in 2023. Adithya's technical expertise and experience make him a valuable asset to any team working on computer vision, deep learning, and autonomous vehicles.
