Adithya Praveen is a highly skilled and motivated CS student currently pursuing his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from the esteemed Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani - Dubai Campus. With a passion for research and development, Adithya has gained valuable experience in a variety of cutting-edge technologies and applications. Currently serving as a Research Intern for his undergraduate thesis at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani Dubai, Adithya has implemented a neural network that builds itself and finds an optimal architecture using temporal difference learning, a reinforcement learning approach. He has presented his research at the Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality 2020 Conference in Kumamoto, Japan, and published it in the Association of Computing Machinery's (ACM) International Conference Proceedings Series. Adithya is also collaborating with the Florida Institute of Technology to build a translator that accelerates the development cycle going from formally verified models (in frameworks such as UPPAAL) to simulations in ROS, Gazebo, and ArduPilot. In his previous role at Team iFor, Adithya worked on image processing and deep learning projects. He implemented real-time license plate localization and reading using transfer learning on the YOLO neural net architecture in Python with a custom curated dataset. His team integrated the algorithm into a drone for autonomous parking fee enforcement. Adithya has a strong academic background in computer science, having completed his Indian School Certificate (ISC) and Indian Certificate for Secondary Education (ICSE) from Hari Sri Vidya Nidhi School. He has also gained valuable experience in relevant technologies such as research scientist, reinforcement learning, image processing, deep learning, neural networks, and Python. With 2.19 years of relevant experience, Adithya is a highly skilled and motivated individual who is committed to pursuing a career in research and development.
