Aditi Bhatnagar is a Senior Security Engineer at Atlassian with over 9 years of relevant experience in the field. She is a researcher, speaker, tech blogger, and technosociologist who is passionate about creating new things, building exciting stuff, and diving deep into technicalities to build security right into the platform. In her current role at Atlassian, Aditi is responsible for conducting security reviews, code reviews, threat modeling, pentests, and consulting the developers for best security practices. She is particularly interested in security research, studying the ever-evolving relationship of tech and humans, and spreading cyber awareness. Aditi started an initiative called "!nfinite Hacks" to research and spread awareness about the issues ranging from cybersecurity, data privacy, addiction, information overload, etc. that tech brings along in the modern-day world and brainstorm possible solutions. Aditi has presented her work in multiple international conferences, including RSAC, Diana Initiative, Android Security Symposium, ISEA International Conference on Security and Privacy, Microsoft's Reverse Engineer Summit, and Android Dev Days. She has also conducted trainings for Microsoft, Google, Mozilla, Girl Script, Swecha, and several non-profit tech communities. Before joining Atlassian, Aditi worked in the domain of Endpoint Security in Microsoft Defender Team, making Android devices more secure every day. In that role, she delivered exhaustive research on Android Security, identified and fixed several security vulnerabilities, conducted security assessments of the product, and built and owned end-to-end telemetry and crash monitoring infra. Aditi also added support for scanning external storage of malicious APKs, managed and monitored product releases, and set up exhaustive automations, pipelines, and DevOps. Aditi holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in IT from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology. Her tech stack includes research scientist, Android, AWS, infra, DevOps, and software engineer. Aditi is a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive individual who is always eager to learn and grow in her career.
