Aditya Bhide is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in consulting, government, and finance. He is currently serving as an Advisor in the COVID-19 War Room of the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai. Aditya has previously worked as a Specialist Consultant at BCG, where he has gained extensive experience in cost optimization, growth strategy, sales acceleration, and sales force effectiveness across various practice areas, including insurance, consumer goods, infrastructure, and industrial goods. At BCG, Aditya has successfully implemented growth strategies for a unicorn start-up in the electric vehicle space and a leading lighting player in India. He has also optimized cost structures for a top 5 private life insurance company in India and identified optimization levers in thermal power-plant operations and coal procurement for one of the largest copper-smelting facilities in the world. Aditya has also led the implementation of a digital tool for sales personnel to improve dealer reach and extraction for the world's largest tire manufacturer. Prior to BCG, Aditya has served as a Consultant in the Chief Minister's Office of the Government of Maharashtra, where he has played a pivotal role in expediting decision-making for building the Mumbai Coastal Road and steering initiatives with citizen action non-profit and Urban Development authorities to provide modern public housing to around 20K citizens. Aditya has also advised the State's Tourism Secretary on Tourism Policy of Maharashtra 2016, a 10-year policy to attract around 120M annual tourists, create around 1M jobs, and generate investments of around $4B. Aditya holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Dwarkadas J Sanghvi College of Engineering and has cleared CFA Level 3. He has also completed his Junior College in Science from Sathaye College and High School from Gyan Kendra High School. Aditya's technical expertise lies in infra, and he has relevant experience of 6.94 years. Aditya is now an incoming MBA candidate at Columbia Business School, where he is looking forward to leveraging his diverse experience to grow as a business leader.
