Aditya Chowdhry is an experienced software engineer with over 6 years of experience in building and managing large-scale infrastructure and software systems. Currently working at probo.in, Aditya is responsible for developing and maintaining the company's software systems. Previously, Aditya worked as a Technical Lead at gojek, where he was part of the Gojek Platform Team (Kernel). During his tenure, he focused on building reliability and improving developer productivity. Aditya developed an in-house platform to scaffold, configure, and deploy services to GCP VMs and Kubernetes, along with standardized alerting, monitoring, and logging capabilities. He also migrated over 100 services from VM to containers and added features such as canary deployments using Istio and Kubernetes, Grpc support, and more. Aditya's expertise in infrastructure automation is evident in his work. He built a templatized Infrastructure Orchestration Service to provision custom infrastructure with standardized conventions and smart defaults, reducing the time to build a GKE cluster with pre-configured nginx, prometheus, and logging agent from ~1-2days to ~10-15 minutes. He also created one-click tooling to create VMs, Postgres, Redis Cluster, Rabbitmq Cluster, and more. Aditya's team upgraded over 100 GKE clusters and developed a platform for collating all infrastructure inventory, segregated by ownership. Aditya's tech stack includes Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Go, Terraform, Chef, Consul, Kubernetes, and Istio. He holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Information Technology from Guru Teg Bahadur Institute of Technology and a Full Stack Developer certification from Free Code Camp.
