Aditya Dhulipala is a Senior Software Engineer at Apple, where he contributes to Siri's Conversational features. He is passionate about making technology fun and accessible, and his biggest contribution at Siri has been to lead the team to realize unique product features. Aditya's expertise lies in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and on-device integration, which has resulted in Siri's Social Conversations running blazingly fast and in airplane mode in iOS 15. Aditya is also an avid reader and tinkerer, and he has contributed to various projects in his spare time, including GoLang/Docker and Autonomous Vehicles: Traffic sign classifier. He has previously worked at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer, where he worked on adopting cloud technologies such as ElasticSearch and DynamoDB to buttress the e-commerce marketplace for third-party sellers. He was also the owner of Read APIs and contributor to Search APIs for order data in Marketplace. Aditya holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science from Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology. He has also completed his Secondary School Certificate from Sindhi High School, Hebbal, and his High School Diploma from Presidency Pre-University College Bangalore. Aditya's key accomplishments include leading the team to run 80% of social conversations traffic on-device and accelerating the release timeline for his team's app by 1 year. He also helped with Engineering on “Hey Siri, do I have COVID-19?” CDC questionnaire, which made users love the experience and made the news.
