Aditya Gandhi is a seasoned software engineering professional with close to a decade of experience in the industry. Based out of Seattle, he is currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at Nordstrom, where he works primarily in the product discovery (search) space. Aditya's main toolbox includes a mix of ML, backend engineering, and DevOps. Prior to his current role, Aditya worked as a Software Engineer II at Nordstrom, where he was part of the team that built an experimentation platform. He also worked at Whitepages (now Ekata), where he played a key role in designing and building the massive search engine that powers all of Whitepages.com and Whitepages Pro. Aditya developed several low-latency RESTful microservices using Scala, Akka, and Akka-HTTP, and created workflow automation jobs using Apache Airflow to improve engineering efficiency. He also set up alerting and monitoring systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and PagerDuty.
