Aditya Gangwal is an experienced Software Development Engineer with a passion for creating innovative tech products that simplify the user experience. With over 2 years of experience in design, development, testing, and deployment, Aditya has contributed to scaling, implementing, and improving complex discount constructs on the Myntra platform. He is currently working at Slice UPI team as SDE-2, where he designs and develops features that help end-users experience a simpler product and businesses attract users with innovative tech products. Aditya is adept at end-to-end design and development of products, including requirement gathering, documentation, design, infrastructure setup, coding, unit and integration testing, automation, deployment, and monitoring. With a background in Mathematics and Statistics, Aditya is also interested in the field of Data Science and related areas. Aditya has done a research internship at the University of Western Australia (UWA) during summer'17 in the field of parallel programming and statistics using CUDA under the guidance of Prof. Grant Morahan. This experience has helped him develop both technical and social skills. Aditya's past experiences include working as a Software Engineer at Myntra and as an Intern-Data Science at Cropin Technology. At Cropin Technology, he built an automated multi-class classification model of crops using extracted features from ndvi-time series data, constructed an iterative algorithm based on Savitzky-Golay filter to remove noise in satellite data due to clouds, and formed a One-class classification model on singly labeled data to identify crop of a specific class amongst all crops.
