Aditya Gaur is a skilled software engineer with almost four years of experience in building scalable ingestion platforms and tuning databases to power analytics/monitoring use cases on both bare metal and cloud environments, particularly on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). He has worked with both OLAP/OLTP databases and data warehouses such as Postgres, ClickHouse, BigQuery, and BigTable. Aditya has extensive experience working with messaging solutions like Cloud Pub/Sub (GCP), Kafka, and RabbitMQ, and has implemented ingestion workloads on top of them using frameworks like Apache Beam and Kafka Streams. Aditya is also proficient in working with containers (Docker) and container orchestration frameworks (Docker compose and Kubernetes) and has developed RESTful APIs using Spring Boot. Currently, Aditya works as a Software Engineer 2 - Infrastructure and Platform Development at Innovaccer, where he is utilizing his skills to build innovative solutions. In his previous role at Wingify, Aditya worked as a Software Engineer 2 - Data Platform and was responsible for migrating data platform components to GCP while ensuring zero user downtime and complete data integrity with a rollback plan for all components. Aditya has also worked on developing a new data platform, VWO Session recordings, which involved rearchitecturing functionality from stateful implementation to a BigTable and Kafka Streams based solution. He also implemented Kubernetes health checks and autoscaling using Prometheus + JMX metrics. Additionally, he developed a ClickHouse and BigQuery-based analytics platform used for Personalisation, A/B testing, and user segmentation. Aditya completed his Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Cluster Innovation Centre, University of Delhi in 2018.
