Aditya Ghuge is a Senior Research Engineer with a strong background in Computer Vision and Machine Learning. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Vision from Carnegie Mellon University, where he is also working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Computer Vision. Aditya has been engaged in various stages of end-to-end training of ML models, including research, data collection, data preprocessing, training models on different architectures, testing, and deploying on embedded boards. Aditya has a keen interest in the autonomous driving space and has briefly worked on building solutions to detect objects on the road. He has worked with Mentor Graphics as a Senior Member Technical Staff and as a Member of Technical Staff, where he researched and developed components to execute Mentor Multi-Stage Classifier (MSC), an object classification algorithm on OpenVX. He has also reviewed and tested different LiDAR ground extraction and clustering algorithms to refine the performance of LiDAR ground extraction and clustering on KITTI dataset. Aditya has compared inference and evaluation performance of state-of-the-art Object Detection models Yolov3 and Retinanet with Mentor MSC on KITTI and Simcenter Prescan Dataset. Aditya has a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi. He has a tech stack that includes Computer Vision, Research Scientist, ML, Object detection, Software Engineer, test, Object Detection, AI, CNN, and Dagger.
