Aditya Gupta is a highly skilled Software Engineer with a passion for using technology at scale, specifically algorithms and machine learning, to solve high-impact problems in the real world. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at Waymo, where he is responsible for end-to-end learning for behavior prediction. Prior to this, Aditya worked at Google as a Staff Software Engineer, where he led the engineering from the ground up for a new ad offering that allows advertisers to instantly run customized ads in response to real-world events. He also co-led an effort to improve the revenue and machine usage trade-off for Display Ads, boosting yearly revenue by $xxxM. Aditya holds a B.Tech+M.Tech Dual Degree in Computer Science from IIT Kanpur, where he used machine learning and statistics to generate algorithmic trading strategies using high-frequency stock market data for his Masters Thesis. He has also done research internships at the Centre of Algorithms, Discrete Maths, and Algorithms at ETH Zurich and Yahoo Research Labs in the area of algorithms and game theory. During his stay in college, Aditya was the elected Chairman of the Students' Gymkhana at IIT Kanpur, overseeing a budget of INR 20 million and representing the student community in important Institute Committees such as the Academic Senate, Undergraduate Committee, Disciplinary Committee. He was also the Editor of the college newspaper (Vox Populi), the Coordinator of the English Literary Society, and a member of the Institute Basketball team. Aditya is an avid sportsperson and triathlete, enjoying hiking, biking, swimming, and basketball. With 9.78 years of relevant experience, Aditya is an expert in software engineering, machine learning, research science, and senior software engineering. He is a highly motivated and dedicated individual who is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow.
