Aditya K is a recent graduate in B.Tech - CSE (Batch of 2022) with a specialization in Big Data Analytics from SRM University. He is currently working as an Associate Software Engineer at Optum, a UnitedHealth Group Company, where he is passionate about solving real-world problems in the data domain and learning the latest tools and technologies used to solve those problems. Aditya has a strong technical background in Python and SQL and has worked on projects related to Data Science and Machine Learning for the past two years. He is also interested in participating in hackathons. Aditya has a keen interest in Data Engineering and Data Science and aspires to work in these domains in the near future. Previously, Aditya worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Optum, where he worked on a microservices architecture using Java and Spring Boot. He also got exposure to working in an Agile/Scrum environment. Aditya has also worked as a Summer Research Fellow at the Indian Academy of Sciences, where he conducted literature reviews of research journals/papers based on Gilbert-Elliott (GE) Model. He trained and evaluated algorithms on packet loss sequences and achieved a Mean Squared Error in the range of 1-10% for the estimation of the GE Model parameters.
