Aditya Krishnakumar is a technically savvy professional with over 4 years of experience in DevOps. He has worked with emerging technologies tied to DevOps, where he spent most of his time simplifying automation for Small & Medium Businesses (SMBs) as well as enterprise clients. Aditya has worked for industries such as Management Consulting, Media & Broadcasting and Technology Services. As a DevOps Engineer, Aditya orchestrates the journey of software development from commit to production. He drives performance and reliability across multiple platforms, working closely with development and QA teams to understand requirements for build, test, deploy and release processes. His experience crosses shortening and automating testing and release cycles to get it done faster. Aditya is currently working as a Software Engineer, DevOps at BCG, which is an advanced analytics and data science division within BCG GAMMA. He is working on the operations of Big Data & Analytics platform built for big box retailers in Azure & Google Cloud. He is also working on setting up a monitoring platform in Datadog for the SaaS platform. Aditya is developing automation in Terraform for supporting Virtual Machines as well as Kubernetes clusters. He is implementing FinOps by setting up ParkMyCloud for saving the running costs of the dev & test environments. He is also implementing DevSecOps practices by integrating Veracode in the CI/CD process, using Orca Security for any alerts and vulnerabilities in the infrastructure as well as setting up patch management for machines in the infrastructure. Aditya has previously worked with Dynamic Elements AS and IntelliMedia Networks as a DevOps Consultant. At Dynamic Elements AS, he worked with Serverless technologies on AWS Cloud for managing an enterprise social media network product. He automated and future-proofed the infrastructure built with Terraform & Python for newer modules in the product. He also performed a Cloud migration in AWS from Ireland (eu-west-1) to Frankfurt (eu-central-1) region of the entire SaaS product in Europe. At IntelliMedia Networks, he was responsible for the architecture and the product lifecycle of an internal serverless tool which deploys, configures and manages lifecycle of proprietary software on AWS EC2 & Oracle Cloud instances which are responsible for the distribution of live media.
