Aditya Konarde is a highly experienced SRE Manager at Red Hat, with over 6 years of relevant experience in the field. He is currently responsible for leading, growing, and sustaining a team of 20 SREs working remotely across 6 countries and 3 continents, with a focus on developing software and holding operational responsibility to deliver layered products on top of Managed OpenShift. Aditya is also involved in setting the vision and direction for SRE in the Cloud Services initiatives of the organization. Aditya's expertise lies in developing Kubernetes Operators, enabling zero-touch, fleet-wide deployments, and helping launch 12 new managed services to Red Hat's customers, bringing the company to several new markets in the cloud services. He has previously built and led a globally distributed and fully remote team of 10 Site Reliability Engineers from scratch, collaborating with other counterparts in the program team to bring 3 new Managed layered services to the market. Aditya has also been a senior individual contributor with a focus on infrastructure and application resiliency and observability, leading several org-wide and company-wide initiatives and projects while building and maintaining long-term relationships with all the organizations involved in the service lifecycle. Aditya's education background includes a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from Deogiri Institute of Engineering and Management Studies, and a Full Stack Web Development Certification from Free Code Camp. His technical skills include SRE, Kubernetes, AI, and infra. Aditya is a regular conference and meetup speaker and is always open to a quick chat about careers, diversity, collaboration, or anything else.
