Aditya Mehra is a skilled software engineer with a passion for building distributed systems. With over 5 years of relevant experience, Aditya has a proven track record of developing highly-available and fault-tolerant distributed systems using RESTful APIs, Queues (SQS), and time-stream (Kinesis). He has worked on a microservices-based architecture, refactored legacy monoliths, and formulated requirements for new features and products. Aditya has experience in both backend and frontend development, having worked with Java, Spring Boot, ES6, React, and AngularJS. He has also tried his hand at DevOps and is comfortable working with AWS. Aditya holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Utah State University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Govind Ballabh Pant University. He has also completed the Full Stack Web Developer Nanodegree and React Nanodegree from Udacity. During his Master's, Aditya worked on 3D models and Computational Biology, showcasing his diverse interests. Aditya is a problem-solver at heart and loves to take part in design discussions with other engineers and stakeholders. He believes that premature optimization is the root of all evil in programming and focuses on creating working coded solutions. Aditya is currently working as a Software Engineer at AppDynamics and has previously worked at LendingClub, where he reduced the time required to process borrower's financial documents and made a decision on the loan application, bringing down the ASTi (Approval to Submission Time) [metrics are confidential].
