Aditya Motwani is a passionate and skilled Data Engineer with a specialization in Data Science. He is a Computer Science Post Graduate student who has completed his MS by Research in Data Engineering from IIIT Hyderabad. Aditya is a technology enthusiast who has a huge inclination towards utilizing his data science expertise to create products for social good. Aditya has a deep understanding of data and product development, machine learning, and natural language processing with Python. He is experienced in text understanding, which includes understanding underlying themes and topics in large amounts of text, and modeling relations among characters in long texts like detective novels. Aditya is also skilled in behavioral data science, using clustering techniques to visualize user behavior on Twitter, and understanding collective engagement of online audiences. Furthermore, Aditya is proficient in pattern and outlier detection, analyzing data to detect anomalies and mining association rules from large data sources. He has extensive experience in working with industrial projects, including Novartis, where he performed outlier detection to manage patient profiles and understand drug impact patterns. At ISB, Aditya performed data analysis to find user and patent networks that would foster co-innovation in the green technology space. Currently, Aditya is a Data Engineer II at Walmart and is part of the Global Data and Analytics Platform Pillar. He has also worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at IIIT Hyderabad. As a Research Assistant, Aditya worked on Novartis Patient Outlier Detection, modeling patient data using logistic regression, support vector machines, and decision trees to detect patient outliers in drug trial data. As a Teaching Assistant, Aditya designed assignments, conducted lab sessions, tutorials, and evaluated the performance of graduate and undergraduate students for Data Structures and Algorithms (CS1.201) and Scripting and Computing Environments (CSE505).
