Aditya Mukhopadhyay is an experienced architect and developer with over 15 years of experience in the industry. He is currently working as a Developer at ArangoDB, a leading open-source native multi-model database. Aditya is passionate about working with teams that exhibit a high degree of authenticity and a genuine curiosity to explore and learn. Aditya's latest obsession is centered around developing and promoting an open-source, temporal graph data store called RecallGraph. He is the Founder and Creator of RecallGraph, which is a versioned-graph data store that retains all changes that its data (vertices and edges) have gone through to reach their current state. Aditya is building an active community of users and contributors around RecallGraph, which supports point-in-time graph traversals, allowing the user to query any past state of the graph just as easily as the present. Aditya's work on RecallGraph is particularly relevant for scenarios where data is best represented as a network of vertices and edges (i.e., a graph) having the following characteristics: both vertices and edges can hold properties in the form of attribute/value pairs (equivalent to JSON objects); documents (vertices/edges) mutate within their lifespan (both in their individual attributes/values and in their relations with each other); and past states of documents are as important as their present, necessitating retention and queryability of their change history. Prior to his current role at ArangoDB, Aditya worked as MTS - 1, Software Engineer at PayPal, where he gained experience in a variety of technologies, including Javascript, NodeJS, dotNET, Kafka, and microservices. Aditya holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics and Scientific Computing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. With a relevant experience of 16.28 years, Aditya is a seasoned professional with a passion for developing innovative solutions and building strong communities around them.
