Aditya Oberai is a highly motivated and skilled Developer Advocate at Appwrite, with a passion for community building and hackathons. He has a diverse range of experience working with various technologies, including .NET and Microsoft Azure, and has spent the last three years empowering student and tech communities. Aditya is currently an active Microsoft MVP and Twilio Champion, and has been awarded the Azure Heroes "Community Hero" and "AI Ambassador" Digital Badgers by Microsoft. He is also a member of the .NET Foundation and was named among Major League Hacking's Top 50 hackers of 2021. Aditya co-organized (arguably) the largest student-led digital hackathon in India, HackOn 2.0, and currently contributes as a Developer Evangelist/Advocate Advisory Board member at DevNetwork. In his current role at DevNetwork, Aditya supports content curation and judges the annual industry DEVIES Awards and hackathons. Aditya has previously worked as a Developer Advocate at Appwrite, where he built, supported, and engaged with their OSS community, consisting of thousands of developers from all around the world. He has also worked as a Junior Software Developer Intern at Techdome Solutions Private Ltd, where he developed backend APIs for a web-based software solution for a current client using ASP.NET 5 and Entity Framework Core 5, and created serverless Azure Functions with .NET Core 3.1 to automate mass data ingestion from external services on Azure SQL Server. Aditya holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Amity University and completed his ISC in Science from The Doon School. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in Azure, AI, SQL, Software Engineering, dotNET, ASP.NET, Backend, and Web development. With relevant experience of 0.94 years, Aditya is a valuable asset to any team, and his passion for community building and hackathons make him a standout in the tech industry.
