Aditya Sanghi is a seasoned Tech & Product leader with over 9 years of experience in building digital-lending and core fintech products. He has led multiple product and platform engineering teams across different organizations, including Gojek, MoneySmart, and Traveloka. Aditya was one of the first engineers at Gojek, where he built the core transport system from scratch that served a 40+ million strong customer base. He also built the driver-allocation, fulfillment, and dynamic pricing systems. At MoneySmart, Aditya developed scalable and performant back-end systems for the past 4 years, primarily using GoLang, Java, and Ruby, using best coding practices (TDD, Clean Code, Pair Programming) that supported colossal consumer bases and the rapid addition of new products/features. Aditya is currently a Senior Engineering Manager at Traveloka, where he is responsible for multidisciplinary teams across Singapore, Jakarta & Vietnam, 40+ headcount, distributed systems, tech strategy, processes & mentoring. His teams are scaling up Consumer-Lending (BNPL), Virtual Credit-Cards, International Lending, B2B Lending, Money Channeling, Fintech-Platform (Fraud, Identity-Management, Ledger, Personalization, Offline Payments) & Recovery, and mitigating the associated risks while achieving IPO compliance. Aditya has also worked as an Engineering Manager at Traveloka, where he led the engineering teams for BNPL (Paylater) that own Fraud, Risk, Loan Management Lifecycle, Subledger, Capital-Diversification, Credit-Collection, Loan-Insurance, Digital Credit Card & Customer Segmentation. Aditya has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University. He has also completed his O-levels from Legae Academy, Botswana, and his Science, Mathematics, and Computer Science degree from Army Public School Noida. Aditya has spoken at GopherCon India 2017 and Devnet Create 2017 in San Francisco, and also been an emcee+organizer for conferences like RubyConf India and DevOpsDays India.
