Aditya Sanka is an experienced technical people leader with a proven track record in building and scaling startups. He is currently the Engineering Manager at CAFU, where he leads a team of developers and drives common sense while making technical decisions. Aditya's expertise in managing trade-offs and avoiding accidental complexity has enabled his team to focus on solving business problems. He is also responsible for ensuring technology compliance as a part of Uber's acquisition of CAFU. Prior to his current role, Aditya was the Lead Software Engineer - Mass Transportation at Careem, where he managed a team of 14 developers and was instrumental in launching Careem Bus in six cities across four countries. He also integrated Commut's software assets into the Careem platform after the acquisition of Commut, a tech-enabled shuttle service for daily office commuters in Hyderabad, where he was the Chief Technology Officer. Aditya was accountable for critical technical decisions and coordinating the development efforts of the software team. He identified the essential and eliminated noise, set up tooling and best practices, and hired and onboarded junior developers and interns. Aditya holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science from the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), where he graduated in 2014. He has relevant experience of 9.11 years and is skilled in Senior Software Engineering and Software Engineering. Aditya's leadership and technical expertise have been instrumental in the success of various startups and acquisitions.
