Aditya Sharma is an experienced infrastructure engineer with a strong focus on enabling the DevOps culture in organizations. With over 7 years of relevant experience, Aditya has a sound understanding of AWS, GCP, and other relevant tools and technologies. Aditya has expertise in designing highly available, fault-tolerant infrastructure and is experienced in using tools such as Terraform for IaaC, Jenkins for CI, Docker and K8s, networking, ELK stack, config management using Ansible, and Python/bash scripting. His focus is on bridging the gap between developers and delivery/operations teams using such tools and creating practices that help the "develop to deploy" transition be smooth. Currently working as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Gojek, Aditya has previously worked as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Smallcase, where he was responsible for architecting, scaling, and troubleshooting the infrastructure for multiple broker integrations, setting up secure connectivity with libreswan S2S VPN, and structuring hiring processes and building a DevOps enablement team. He also supervised deployments, built an automated config management system using Ansible, and managed 30+ microservices across a fleet of 300 servers. Aditya's experience also includes working as an Infrastructure Engineer at Smallcase, where he was responsible for bringing best practices to the infrastructure hosted on AWS, implementing scaling, introducing 3 tier architecture patterns, setting up VPNs, conducting security audits, building automations using Python scripting, and enabling metrics and insights with Telegraf, Grafana, Elasticsearch. Aditya holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician from SRM University and completed his high school education from Birla Vidya Niketan.
