Aditya Shirole is a dynamic entrepreneur and co-founder of GigIndia, a leading gig economy platform that was acquired by PhonePe in March 2022. With over 6 years of experience in the technology industry, Aditya has played a key role in building a network of 750,000+ gig workers and serving 100+ enterprises like Amazon, Infosys, Tata, Cred & Swiggy. As the Leading Product at GigIndia, Aditya is responsible for building a lean team of Product Managers & Product Designers to create a World-Class product in the Gig Economy space. He is also actively hiring PMs, APMs & Product Designers to build the Future of Work for millions of Indian job seekers through gigs. Aditya's expertise lies in empowering businesses to scale rapidly by providing on-demand work completion at scale via gig (variable) workforce for use cases like Sales, Marketing, Recruitment & Operations. He has successfully removed the overhead of recruiting, training, and managing the workforce, making GigIndia a go-to platform for enterprises looking to hire gig workers. Aditya's journey with GigIndia began while he was still in college, where he co-founded the platform in 2017. He played a critical role in building and launching the first version of GigIndia Android App, the website, and the internal Web Application for managing gigs. After building the core GigIndia Platform, he moved into the COO role to focus on scaling up the business. In this role, he managed the operations team, built systems & processes to deliver gigs for customers at scale, and was responsible for leading the operations team & helping GigIndia grow to more than $7.5 Million in ARR till the acquisition by PhonePe in March 2022. Aditya holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Pune Institute of Computer Technology and completed his high school from Muktangan English School & Junior College. He has a strong tech stack that includes expertise in Senior Software Engineering, Android, and Web development. With his passion for building innovative products and his expertise in the gig economy space, Aditya is set to revolutionize the future of work in India.
