Aditya Sista is an experienced software engineer with a focus on artificial intelligence, deep learning, image processing, and natural language processing. He is also experienced in full-stack web development. Aditya is currently working as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Plate IQ, where he is responsible for deep learning for invoice processing at scale. He is working on transformer models such as modified Google's BERT, LayoutLM, etc., for invoice processing, building tools, and frameworks to train and fine-tune models at scale. Their models process 100k invoices every day. Previously, Aditya utilized CNN-based models (FAIR's Detectron) on invoice images to localize fields of interest to help isolate the text for the respective field. Aditya has worked at Applied Materials and JD as a Technical Lead - Software and a Software Engineer - Machine Intelligence, respectively. At Applied Materials, Aditya worked on AI in healthcare, specifically deep learning for cancer detection. He worked with technologies such as TensorFlow, Keras, Python, C++, pybind11, Flask, GPU programming, distributed deep learning training, and data pipelining. At JD, Aditya worked on automatic speech recognition and natural language processing, building appropriate deep neural network architecture for the same, deep learning algorithms to train them, and using technologies like TensorFlow, Python, etc. He also worked on the backend for above systems using some Python backend frameworks. Aditya is a BITS Pilani alumnus, with a Master's Degree and Bachelor's Degree in MSc. (Hons.) Physics and BE (Hons.) Manufacturing, respectively. He has a relevant experience of 7.87 years and is proficient in various technologies such as ML, AI, Deep Learning, BERT, Web, NLP, CNN, Image Processing, Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, Python, Keras, TensorFlow, Flask, Backend, and Neural Networks.
