Aditya Suryavamshi is a problem solver with a passion for interesting challenges. He is currently an intern at Giftolexia, a startup incubated at IIM-B that helps in screening for developmental dyslexia. Aditya was one of the earliest members of the technical team that helped to understand the formal problem that needed to be solved. He researched the best use of technology to diagnose developmental dyslexia by referring to various academic journals and white papers. Aditya experimented with different ways to visualize data to get a better feel for what features may be relevant. He also implemented early versions of Velocity Threshold filter to identify fixation of eye pupils which is one of the prominent features to identify dyslexia. Aditya has worked as a Software Engineer I and II at ClearTax, where he worked on the core B2B/B2CA products of ClearTax. He refactored and optimized the API which sits front and center whenever Data Pulls are made on ClearTax GST, which reduced the number of API calls made to Govt to fetch Data by at least 3 percent. Aditya also setup the infrastructure necessary to run LoadTest and ran multiple LoadTest’s to identify scalability issues in the Excel Ingestion pipeline. He implemented architectural level changes in Data Pulls which made them at least 5x faster. Aditya implemented many user-facing features such as EWayBill Dashboard, supporting new templates for Ingesting Client Master, and Purchase Summary of GSTR-9. He came up with the Initial Design and Implemented the Initial Version of AutoPull which was one of the primary ways ClearTax GST was trying to utilize un-used GSP API Quota. Aditya increased the Success rate of Automated data pulls from 30% to 99%+ consistently and drastically improved the Experience of Data Pulls. Aditya has taken on a more product/business-focused role in general and has experience with microservices, Salesforce, infra, CI/CD, Java, Kubernetes, Integration, and test. He has a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Dayananda Sagar University and Pre University from Sri Kumaran Pre-University College. Aditya has 5.19 years of relevant experience.
