Aditya Tirumalai Sundararam is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with over 13 years of experience in security analytics, product management, and threat hunting and detection. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Cyber Threat Analytics at Securonix, Aditya is responsible for leading the global threat detection engineering, research, and analytics team. He develops threat detection models and security orchestration runbooks for the Securonix SIEM and UEBA platforms, manages the Securonix Threat Library, and leads the Threat Hunting Service offering. Aditya has a proven track record of partnering with customers and MSSP vendors to increase enablement, drive product adoption, and align with industry standard frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, PCI, and HITRUST for security analytics, detection, and response. He has researched and spearheaded the successful launch of product capabilities for phishing, network traffic analysis, insider threat, financial fraud, intelligent incident response, and other industry-specific application analytics. Prior to his current role, Aditya served as the Director of Cyber Threat Analytics and Senior Solutions Architect at Securonix. He spearheaded the technology pre-sales team and managed all proof of concept and pre-sales for prospects in the Northeast America, EMEA, and APAC regions. He partnered with Fortune 100 customers in implementing behavior-based anomaly detection solutions on top of traditional security platforms to help detect insider threat, data exfiltration, cyber threat, and access anomalies. He also assisted customers across different industry verticals, including finance, defense, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing, in strategizing and rolling out insider threat detection programs. Aditya holds a Master's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology. His tech stack includes product management, research science, infra, software engineering, and senior software engineering.
