Aditya Varshney is a Software Engineer at Applied Intuition, with a keen interest in security, smart systems, and data science. He is passionate about helping teams achieve product milestones and tackle problems at scale. Aditya is also committed to promoting tech equity and has worked with several Bay Area organizations to strengthen computer science education in under-resourced communities. Currently working at a stealth startup, Aditya has previously worked at Apple as an ML and Cyber Security Engineer and as a Data Science Intern for Information Security. During his time at Apple, Aditya learned the anomaly detection framework and wrote new detections covering network, IP, and payment assets. He also worked with deep learning at scale, compute clusters, and querying for the first time. As a Data Science Intern, Aditya worked with the Apple Information Security (AIS) team to build a smart network visualization system for threat triage. He implemented role extraction and community detection algorithms into an open-source dynamic network visualization library and investigated role-based multi-hop anomalies on proprietary network data. Aditya holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, where he gained expertise in software engineering, data science, machine learning, deep learning, Python, Docker, and Javascript. Aditya has 2.87 years of relevant experience and is a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineer with a passion for security, smart systems, and data science. He is committed to using his skills to help teams achieve their goals and promote tech equity.
