Aditya Walvekar is an experienced software engineer currently pursuing his Master of Science in Information Systems from New York University. He is passionate about solving challenging problems and is always eager to learn new technologies. Aditya is currently working as a Software Engineer III Summer Intern (SWE-III) at Walmart, where he is excited to contribute to the development of innovative solutions. Before joining Walmart, Aditya worked as a Senior Software Engineer at PharmEasy, where he was responsible for the end-to-end implementation of a large-scale distributed ingestion pipeline that handled 10M+ ingestions per day. He also developed and maintained four essential services that handled authentication, ingestion, storage, and request routing. Aditya led a team of four engineers to develop a country-scale product-retailer mapping system that enabled PharmEasy and all its subsidiaries to do business with 100+ new retailers and pharmacies in India per day. This system also included an ML model for automation. Aditya's previous experience also includes working as a Research Assistant at NYU Stern School of Business, where he developed software for NYU students. He has a diverse educational background, including a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Communication from Manipal Institute of Technology, Pre-University Studies in Mathematics and Computer Science from M.E.S Kishora Kendra PUC, and Primary Schooling from M.E.S Kishora Kendra. Aditya is skilled in software engineering, research, and ML. He is always eager to learn new technologies and is constantly updating his skills. His passion for problem-solving and his ability to work well in teams make him a valuable asset to any organization.
