Aditya Wasnik is a Research Engineer at BlockApps AI, focusing on implementing state-of-the-art Deep Learning algorithms for real-time video analytics. He has a Master's degree in Cyber Physical Systems from the Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur, where he developed 3D segmentation algorithms for medical-assisted health diagnosis. In his project, he used a UNet-based architecture along with an attention mechanism and incorporated predictive uncertainty estimation of Deep Learning models, as medical applications of Deep Learning involve high stakes. Aditya has a good understanding of and hands-on experience in Deep Learning and is currently exploring the interpretability and explainability aspects of Deep Learning and AI. He is also interested in collaborating on cool DL-based projects, preferably in natural language understanding and graph neural networks. Before joining BlockApps AI, Aditya was a Master's student at IIT Jodhpur. He has a Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering from the University of Mumbai. Aditya is a research scientist with two years of relevant experience in Deep Learning, AI, and Neural Networks. Apart from his work, Aditya enjoys coding and reading fiction. He is highly motivated and passionate about his work and is always looking for new challenges to improve his skills. Aditya is a team player who enjoys collaborating with others and is always willing to learn from his peers.
