Adrian Florea is a highly experienced Data Scientist with over 20 years of relevant experience. Currently working at Covisian, he holds the position of Head of Data Science Team and is responsible for driving the data science strategy for the organization. With a strong background in AI and ML, Adrian has worked on a range of complex projects over the years. Adrian has a Master of Science in Applied Data Science & Big Data from Data ScienceTech Institute, where he graduated in 2019. During his time at the institute, he gained expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, Hadoop, and SQL. Additionally, he has experience in AWS and has prepared for the AWS Solution Architect Associate Certification. Before joining Covisian, Adrian was a School of Artificial Intelligence Fellowship recipient at Pi School in Rome, Italy. During this fellowship, he worked on a project titled "Anomaly Detection of Call Center Campaign KPIs. Online Active Multivariate Time Series Anomaly Detection" in collaboration with Alessio Areni. Adrian was mentored by Dr. Nicola Farina and Dr. Sara Borroni and coached by Dr. Simone Scardapane and Norman di Palo. Dr. Sébastien Bratières was the program director. Adrian has a Master of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science and a Master of Engineering in Shipbuilding Engineering from the University of "Dunarea de Jos" in Galati. He is skilled in data science, research science, AI, ML, big data, deep learning, neural networks, Hadoop, web, and SQL. He has worked as a Senior Software Engineer in the past.
