Adrian Loteanu is a highly experienced Machine Learning Engineer with a passion for technology and a strong background in software and hardware system performance. With over 10 years of relevant experience, he has worked on performance projections for cutting-edge high-performance hardware, including Xeon server platforms and relevant competition. Adrian has a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and has recently focused on AI performance, considering it one of the most compute-intensive tasks in the computer industry today. Adrian is a problem solver and creative thinker who enjoys architecting solutions to solve challenging problems. He has acquired notable skills in C and C++ programming, Java programming, algorithms, x86 and ARM architecture and microarchitecture, Linux OS internals, and using DPDK for high-performance networking. He is also experienced in data analysis, profiling tools, analyzing and modeling system performance, performance optimizations, system simulation, presentation skills, project management, server platform internals, networking protocols, low-level programming for high performance, and artificial intelligence and machine learning. Adrian has worked for Intel for over eight years as a Performance Architect, where he was responsible for driving decisions about Intel's product roadmap, coordinating international teams of engineers, and creating and maintaining performance models and simulations. He also led a software engineering team that successfully created and deployed into production a game-changing workload tracing, analysis, and simulation tool that leveraged machine learning to enable higher accuracy and confidence architectural simulations of a large class of workloads. Adrian has successfully grown people technically and has delivered numerous trainings to his team and other teams across Intel. Currently, Adrian works for Apple as a Machine Learning Engineer, where he monitors and analyzes the performance of machine learning workloads used on Apple products and drives both the development of new hardware as well as identifies potential software optimizations in order to make Apple products give the best user experience possible and be the best platform for ML. Adrian is a highly skilled individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for technology.
