Adrián Rodríguez-Bazaga is a highly motivated and fast-learning Machine Learning Engineer and Scientist with a passion for solving complex real-world problems. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and a Master's Degree in Machine Learning and Data Science, both with academic performance honors. He has extensive experience in Machine Learning and Deep Learning, with a deep theoretical and practical understanding of a variety of topics in this field. Adrián has worked in both academia and industry, including at STORM Therapeutics Ltd, the University of Cambridge, and the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. He has contributed to a range of projects, including building a comprehensive Data Warehouse platform of Spanish social foundations and philanthropic networks, using unsupervised NLP techniques to categorize a corpus of over 50,000 documents, and developing interpretable Graph Neural Network models to investigate the impact of RNA modifying enzymes on cancer cell line proliferation. Currently, Adrián is pursuing a PhD in Deep Learning applied to Biomedicine at the University of Cambridge, where he is building a Deep Learning-based natural language processing framework to provide innovative ways of accessing database information. He is also an Associate Machine Learning Engineer and Scientist at PRACE Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe, where he is working on High Performance ML for Quantum Chemistry. Adrián's current interests include the development and application of computational intelligence-based methods to solve high-impact problems in the healthcare sector.
