Adrian Rosebrock is a highly experienced computer vision and deep learning researcher/practitioner with a PhD in computer science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). Adrian is dedicated to teaching developers, students, and researchers how to successfully complete their computer vision projects through hands-on tutorials, books, and courses. PyImageSearch.com offers 500+ free tutorials, 5 courses, and 4 books that cover computer vision, deep learning, and OpenCV. Adrian teaches computer vision through a highly hands-on approach, often using code to teach both application and theory. Nearly all of the 500+ tutorials include code samples, allowing learners to apply what they learn directly to their work or research. Adrian is also the author of several publications, including the PyImageSearch University course, Introduction to Python course, Deep Learning for Computer Vision with Python (Vol. 1-3), OCR with OpenCV, Tesseract, and Python (Vol. 1-2), Raspberry Pi for Computer Vision (Vol. 1-3), Practical Python and OpenCV (Vol. 1-2), and the PyImageSearch Gurus course.
