Adrienne Lin is a full stack software developer with over 10 years of experience in Ruby on Rails and MongoDB. Her passion lies in building REST APIs, which she has excelled at in her previous roles as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Poshmark. During her time at Poshmark, she led organic growth, user onboarding/retention projects, and external social partner connections, and built Posh Stories, Posh Affiliate Program, and scaled Posh Markets. Adrienne has also reduced user fraud via signup verification and token management, integrated/automated catalog feeds with Snapchat and TikTok, and led code improvement initiatives and error log reductions. Adrienne started her career as a telecom network engineer, completing a leadership program with multiple roles (ops people manager, RF engineer, and systems performance engineer). However, after realizing that telecom wasn’t for her, she left her management job and transitioned to the biotech industry. As a product manager, she admired the work of software engineers and decided to be one herself. Currently, Adrienne is the Co-Founder and CTO at Nectar, where she is on a mission to give veterinarians superpowers through a next-gen veterinary practice management platform. She and her team are building a comprehensive medical record management system with delightful client communication tools. Predictive analytics will unlock clinical efficiencies, enable veterinarians with clinical practice data, and inform pet owners of proactive, tailored insights into their pets’ health. Adrienne holds a Master of Engineering Management from Duke University, a degree in Computer Programming from App Academy, and a B.S.E in Civil Engineering, Structural Concentration, Sociology Minor from Duke University. She also attended Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. When she's not coding, Adrienne enjoys food (creating, consuming, and blogging: @willwanderforfood), travel, and being okay at snowboarding. Adrienne is currently hiring founding engineers for Nectar and is excited to work with talented individuals who share her passion for modern software for veterinarians.
