Advait Kumar is a co-founder and lead embedded systems engineer at Voltela Inc. He is an experienced embedded engineer with a minor in entrepreneurship under the EIT Master program. Advait is passionate about business development and hackathons. He has a strong background in working with deep learning algorithms on embedded GPU systems. At Voltela Inc, Advait is responsible for Quectel and Telit modem interfacing via AT commands for voice and data C2, MangoH programming using Legato Yocto image, coordinated PCB design and manufacturing using KiCAD, remote management and customer app deployment on raspberry pi, USRP B210 programming, and Mavlink Integration for drone C2. Prior to Voltela Inc, Advait worked as an embedded software engineer at Hortiya. At Hortiya, Advait established MQTT architecture between Raspberry Pi4 (Broker) and ESP8266, InfluxDB integration for time series sensor data collection and visualization, thermal and RGB camera integration and data collection, and LoraWAN using RAK4600 with The things network for data collection. Advait also worked as an embedded system developer and research assistant at Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute HHI. At Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute HHI, Advait evaluated the performance of Depth Estimation algorithms on Jetson TX2, benchmark using KITTI-2015 Dataset, data collection using 4-axis programmable robot, and medical imaging dataset processing. Advait holds a master's degree in embedded systems from Technische Universität Berlin, an EIT-Masters in Embedded Systems from Eindhoven University of Technology, a Bachelor's degree in Solar Energy Technology/Technician from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology. He also completed his high school education in Science from Delhi Public School -Vasant Kunj. Advait's tech stack includes integration, deep learning, and software engineering.
