Aeneas Rekkas is a highly accomplished technology professional with over 8 years of experience in the field. Currently, he serves as a Member of the Board, CTO, and Head of Engineering at Ory Corp, where he co-founded the company and leads the development of visionary open source technology and cloud software for the New Identity Stack. Prior to Ory, Aeneas founded and served as CEO of Ory Software Foundation GmbH, a cloud application defense and security company that has become a leader in bridging the gap between ITSec and DevOps. He also co-founded Serlo Education e.V., an educational platform that provides free access to high-quality education materials in German and is now expanding internationally. Aeneas holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München, where he also earned his Bachelor of Science degree in the same field. He has a strong background in Senior Software Engineering and DevOps, and is highly skilled in various tech stacks. Aeneas is a strategic thinker and an excellent problem-solver, with a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges.
