Afif Anjum is an experienced Data Science Platform Engineer with a strong background in program management, data modeling, ETL, visualization, regression, and classification. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangalore Institute Of Technology. Afif is currently working as a Lead Data Scientist at slice, where he builds data science platforms and automates processes. Afif has previously worked at goals101 as a Sr Data Science Platform Engineer and a Data Science Platform Engineer. During his tenure, he owned, designed, and developed an E2E automated campaign assessment framework for Alpha product users (brand, bank). He also created a DAG scheduling utility that can be used to schedule any Spark jobs via Airflow. Afif developed a data uploader service for loading data into the data storage layer, which supports multiple database/data storage tools such as ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch.
