Afonso Rosa is an iOS Developer at Farfetch with a passion for the video game industry. As a software engineer, he aims to achieve a high position in the gaming industry and has a particular interest in game design. Along the way, he discovered his love for web development, mobile development, project management, and marketing. He plans to hone his skills in web and mobile development to transition into web/mobile gaming, game design, and eventually lead design. A citizen of the world, Afonso has lived in Vienna, Austria, where he studied through the ERASMUS program. He wishes to work in different countries, experience new cultures, and make new friends. He speaks several languages and is in the process of learning more. Afonso is a friendly person who enjoys helping others, travelling, reading books, watching movies and TV shows, playing video games, and watching football matches. He used to play tennis regularly but currently does not have the time. His favourite times of the year are the Carnival and summer, where he enjoys going to the beach, listening to the sea, and being in a seafront bar. Afonso has worked as a Mobile Developer at itSector, where he worked on iOS development and Ionic Hybrid Mobile Apps Development. He was also a Trainee CRM Developer at Celfocus, working with Vodafone Turkey. Afonso has a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and studied Software Engineering at Technische Universität Wien through the ERASMUS program. Afonso's technical skills include iOS, mobile, and web development, game design, Objective-c, Swift, and software engineering. With almost nine years of relevant experience, Afonso is a talented and passionate developer who is always looking to learn and grow in his field.
