Afreen Bhumgara is an accomplished professional with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Pune University and currently pursuing her MS degree in Computer Science from Northwestern University. She has over 2.5 years of work experience in product management, leadership, software engineering, UI/UX, launching intuitive user experiences, and entrepreneurship. Afreen has managed fast-paced teams of 25-50 employees and handled $10-80 million annual budgets. She is an expert in programming languages and technologies such as Java, Python, C/C++, SQL, Dribble, JavaScript, dssl2, HTML5, CSS3, Eclipse, shell, Unix, Git, Jira, Asana, Figma, Adobe XD, Miro, Wireframes, Balsamiq, Sketch, InVision, UI/UX, Agile, WordPress, Market Research, Stakeholder Management, User Acquisition, Usability Testing, User Research, and A/B Testing. Currently, Afreen is working as a Product Manager in the CEO's office at xelpmoc, where she has collaborated directly with CEO, VP’s, directors, and handled major client acquisitions, boosting revenues by 200% in the first 9 months. She has launched and managed a new 25-employee team (developers, PMs, designers) to design and develop 9 software systems. Afreen has also pioneered business-line recruitment by interviewing >550 applicants across India, optimizing HR processes by 250%. In her previous roles, Afreen has worked as a Software Developer at Syncnicia Software, where she led a team of 4 interns and resolved API issues with the third-party payment gateway.
