Aftab Alam is a diligent and meticulous web platform architect and engineer with over 13 years of relevant experience. He is currently working as a Manager of Technology at Publicis Sapient, where he plans, engineers, and devises beautiful user interfaces, single-page applications, backends, APIs, and more. Aftab is highly radioactive to the word "Javascript" and aspires to use it everywhere. He has engineered and architected web sites and apps of almost all types, sizes, and shapes using cutting-edge and best-of-breed languages, frameworks, tools, and techniques. He is always in awe of technical innovation and tries to follow-up, learn, master, and bring beautiful patterns, practices, and syntactical dialects in his work and workflow, so that he can deliver performant and robust solutions that can stand the test of time and requirement. He strives for clean, maintainable, and easy-to-reason-about code. He is a Javascript Engineer/Architect/Lead and can use frameworks/libraries likes AngularJS, Backbone, T3, jQuery, etc. on Front-end (if vanilla JS doesn't cut it) and Express, Sails, etc. in Backend. He is a huge markup (HTML/HTML5) fan and CSS (SASS/SCSS) lover. PHP/MySQL (with Drupal) were his go-to tools, and CMS-oriented engineering and architecting was his primary job before one guy (Javascript) from the same stack evolved and dominated all of his curiosity, craft, and work.
