Agam Garg is a highly motivated and accomplished entrepreneur with a strong background in strategy, growth, and operations. He is currently the Co-founder of Arise (EdTech), a company that aims to drive academic improvement in children affordably. Despite the crowded K-12 Edtech space globally, Agam and his team are building something unique and differentiated to address the problem of dismal learning outcomes for the large, fat middle, and lower end of the bell curve. Arise's hybrid, blended Edtech model is evolving post Covid to provide a more effective and affordable solution. Prior to Arise, Agam was the Co-founder and CEO of Peko, a mental healthcare startup that launched two solutions to cater to the needs of the ecosystem. Peko Life is a SAAS platform for psychologists and psychiatrists, while Peko Care provides customized care packages to people going through anxiety, depression, and burnout. Agam and his team reached over 120 practitioners within three months of the launch with no marketing, demonstrating their ability to create innovative solutions that meet a real need. Agam also worked as the Lead of Strategic Initiatives at Maverix Platforms, a fresh-food startup based in Mumbai. He worked directly with the founding team to structure and streamline processes across the value chain, assisting teams to re-define workflows that could hold up against the exponential expansion of business. He also led the strategic initiative of expanding the business to Tier III towns, owning the complete P&L, value offerings, operations, and marketing plans. Maverix Platforms is now present in six Tier III cities, with three brands and a workforce of around 20. Agam holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and has relevant experience of over 10 years. He is a strategic thinker with a proven track record of building successful businesses and creating innovative solutions that meet real needs.
