Agam Sarup is an accomplished Software Development Engineer with over 9 years of experience in the consumer services industry. He is currently working as an SDE 3 at Zomato, where he has been instrumental in migrating Ads codebase from PHP monolith to Go microservices, reducing latency for real-time ads serving APIs from 70ms to 22ms and p99 from 200ms to 90ms at peak 300k RPM. Agam has a strong engineering background, with a Master of Technology (MTech) in Computer Science & Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Agam is highly skilled in various programming languages, including Go, PHP, Java, Python, C++, and Android.
