Agnes Sharan is a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer Intern at Bloomberg LP. She completed her Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka in 2019. Agnes has a passion for data analysis and has demonstrated her expertise in this field through her work with the Web Acquisition team at Bloomberg LP. She was responsible for analyzing job crawl data and alerts produced, and identified nearly 5000 jobs with high frequency of alerts and potential cause factors for the same. Agnes also set up a pipeline for producing alert suggestions for jobs based on analysis of historic data using the RAPID User Interface to present suggestions to users in an intuitive way. Prior to joining Bloomberg LP, Agnes worked as an MUN Coordinator at the Literary, Stage and Debating Society. She also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Samsung where she crawled commonly used data sources to extract content associated with nearly 350 categories to build an unstructured data repository for later projects. Additionally, she established a machine learning-based system of over 2000 lines of code in Python for Triplet Extraction by analyzing information repository structure and constructing a pipeline based on existing research and available packages. Agnes built a repository of 50,173 triplets pertaining to categories to aid in further developments. Agnes has a strong educational background, having completed her Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka in 2019. She also completed her High School education from DPS-Modern Indian School and her Primary School education from MES Indian School. Agnes has a diverse technical skill set that includes expertise in Software Engineering, Web Development, Python, Machine Learning, Research Science, and Mobile Development. She has relevant experience of 2.94 years in the field of Computer Science and Engineering.
