Ahalya has 3 years of experience in Big Data Engineering, building scalable data pipelines, data modeling, applying business logics, optimizing queries, data enrichment, and understanding BI requirements. Outside of work, she enjoys photography, traveling, and swimming. Currently, Ahalya is working as a Senior Data Engineer at Citrix, where she has built an in-house pipeline to enrich account data for stewarding and territory assignment by replacing the legacy system that uses Informatica. She has also built reusable data enrichment modules for DnB, StrikeIron, and GeoCoding APIs, written stored procedures for data filtering, deduplication, and applying business rules, and developed ETL data pipelines on various platforms. In her previous roles, Ahalya worked as a Big Data Developer at Citrix, where she worked on data modeling, design, and implementation for various business requirements. She also worked at HashFoundry Technologies Pvt Ltd as a Member of Technical Staff, where she worked on an agile-based solution, task management application, and as a Fullstack developer handling both front-end design, writing APIs for backend and DB management. Ahalya holds a Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) from Visvesvaraya Technological University and a Bachelor of Computer Application from the University of Mysore.
