Ahdil Hameed is an experienced DevOps/Release Engineer currently working at Nike. With over 7 years of relevant experience, Ahdil is responsible for developing and maintaining an Agile Deployment pipeline utilizing Jenkins containerized on Nutanix VMs with Ansible for Configuration Management to release software to Nike retail stores globally. He is also responsible for enhancing and troubleshooting the deployment infrastructure during live releases and feature development. Ahdil is an expert in DevOps and Automation best practices for efficient error-free software releases and consults Retail Application Engineers and Release Managers on these practices. Prior to his current role, Ahdil worked as a Full Stack Software Engineer at Nike, building full stack web applications and deploying them to cloud environments for end-to-end Integration Testing and Performance testing on Nike Digital's consumer applications. He also containerized and deployed Virtual Services generated from API blueprints into Nike's AWS environments. Ahdil consulted development, quality, and performance teams to implement virtual service integration tests into a Continuous Deployment pipeline. Before joining Nike, Ahdil worked at Kiwi Campus as a Consultant/Product Manager, where he consulted Kiwi's founders to strategically plan the launch of their app from the South American market to the US. He conducted interviews, demos, and focus groups with a targeted customer base to gather requirements for user experience features during launch. Ahdil holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from San Jose High School. He has a strong Tech Stack, including DevOps, Ansible, AWS, Integration, Jenkins, infra, Software Engineer, CI/CD, Web, and product manager.
