Ahmed Hameed is an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor currently working at DRiV Incorporated. With over 5 years of relevant experience, he has proven expertise in managing complex manufacturing processes and driving strategic vision. At DRiV Incorporated, Ahmed has partnered with the engineering team to analyze Packaging Value Stream operations and complexity data, which has helped in adjusting and driving the strategic vision. He has also assisted in the negotiations and purchasing of new supplies, repair, and troubleshooting of machines, and designed solutions for day-to-day operations. Ahmed has developed all process sheets (Work Instructions) necessary to manufacture all products and ensure quality within established cost limits. He has also properly defined all test parameters for the electrical and mechanical integrity of the products, ensuring that safety, quality, and environmental issues are considered and implemented. Ahmed has trained, implemented and sustained DFSS and DFM processes into engineering development projects and planned, documented, and provided periodic status reports on test results, processes, and workflow improvements. He has also assisted in the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment and ensured that all equipment is used in accordance with safety regulations and company rules. Before joining DRiV Incorporated, Ahmed worked as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Federal-Mogul Motorparts, where he facilitated and organized new manufacturing processes, standardized manufacturing and quality testing processes, and performed reverse engineering and design operations for in-house fabrication. He also worked as a Marketing Assistant at iMotorsportInc, where he published online content/marketing materials for 350 motorcycles, managed and maintained the company website, and supported marketing leadership on special projects. Ahmed holds an Engineer’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois and an Associate’s Degree in Art/Art Studies, General from City Colleges of Chicago-Wilbur Wright College. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in various manufacturing tools.
