Ahmed Thabit is an experienced Embedded Hardware Designer with a passion for Machine Learning and Computer Vision. He is currently working at eoip [faculty of engineering, cairo university] as an R&D Embedded Systems Engineer, where he supervises the mass production of electronic circuits assembly for IOT Meters and helps design smart IOT meters based on RF modules. Ahmed is also responsible for enhancing the power gain of an RF module through an antenna kit, field testing and reporting for the RF system, and designing an analog differential circuit as a hardware driver for the solar intensity sensor. With over 8 years of relevant experience, Ahmed has a strong background in testing and automation. He has developed an automation testing solution for testing the response of multiple and different meters automatically to save time and effort. Additionally, he has designed a pulse counter board for an electric water meter using MSP430 and a water meter based on open source hardware design from Texas Instrument. Ahmed's past experiences include working as an HTC Maintenance Engineer at Jovi Tronix and as an Embedded Systems On Job Training at Alfa Electronics. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communication from Aswan University and an Associate's Degree in Network of Electrical Power from Technical Industrial Institute, Qina. Ahmed's technical skills include Computer Vision, designer, ML, test, Android, Integration, and Mobile. He is also a graduate of the Machine Learning Nanodegree and Computer Vision Nanodegree programs. With his expertise in embedded systems and passion for machine learning and computer vision, Ahmed is a valuable asset to any team.
