Ahut Gupta is a highly motivated and adaptable software engineer with a specialization in Distributed Systems. He has over 8 years of relevant experience in designing and developing microservices. Ahut is passionate about Distributed Systems and Machine Learning. Prior to this, he was a Software Engineer at IBM, where he worked as a lead developer in Python for System Restore team on Watson platform for Health (WP4H), a data analytics platform which is HIPAA and GxP compliant. In this role, he designed and implemented an algorithm to restore a loosely coupled collection of data stores in a primary site and a DR site to a rigorously specified state of consistency. He also established consistency rule checking in the platform to identify data corruption and worked with FHIR API to create and ingest data into the platform. Ahut also has experience in Continuous Integration and Deployment using Git, Jenkins, and Urban Code Deploy. Ahut has also worked as an Associate Applications Engineer at Oracle, where he worked in an Agile framework as part of a global team with software engineers and QA testers. He was responsible for Build automation and Continuous Integration of multi-module projects in Jenkins and Hudson. He also automated deployment of project artifacts using WebLogic Scripting Tool (WLST) and Python. Ahut has experience in Server configuration using Chef-Solo and Static code analysis with HP Fortify. Ahut holds a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics and Instrumentation from Birla Institute of Technology and Science.
