Aishvarya Verma is a seasoned engineering leader with over 12 years of experience working with globally distributed teams. With a background in Electronics and Communications, Aishvarya has developed a passion for all things data and extensive experience with databases, SQL, data modelling, and cloud technologies. She is a democratic leader who believes in creating and fostering an environment of trust and ensuring that the team works as a cohesive unit. Currently, Aishvarya is working as an Engineering Manager - Data & Platform at Turvo, where she is leading two engineering teams focused on Data Engineering, Analytics, and APIs, and Core platform frameworks. She is managing 20+ team members, including software engineers, UI engineers, quality engineers, and software architects. Aishvarya founded the Data Engineering team and helped build a self-serve Analytics platform that opened a new revenue stream and helped in acquiring new customers. She is leading multiple key platform engineering projects like API Gateway, Public API, Data Import interface, Administration console, Security, to name a few. Aishvarya has a track record of delivering quality deliverables, with good planning/estimation and visibility to stakeholders. She is a continuous learner who believes in iteratively raising the bar for self and the team, to grow and keep adding value to self and the organization. Aishvarya has also worked as a Software Architect at HighRadius, where she led the Software architecture and design for products and platform engineering initiatives. She managed a team of 9 members with 6 developers and 3 QAs. Aishvarya has a Micromasters in Statistics and Data Science from MITx (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications from VIT.
